This didn't just begin April 22, 2013. I've beenmentally working on a new kitchen design since moving into my little stone house eight years ago. When my change jar chi-chinged the magic number, I sped down I-79 to the nearest Lowes to begin the odyssey of my French-inspired Wine Cafe Kitchen. The template for new counter top was complete, walls painted (after a three week battle of wall-paper removal --- NEVER wall paper if there is any chance at all that it is not a forever thing!), new rugs purchased, vanity clock hung, beautiful sink appliances to match my new chrome appliances, new wine rack installed...I am READY for my new kitchen. But my kitchen wasn't ready for me. Today I am playing hooky once again from work to be at home while installers try to pieced together a counter top that should have only taken about 45 minutes to install the first time.
